Editorial Has potential
With Consent is a character-driven netorase game that earns genuine affection from its audience through deliberate pacing and strong writing. Players consistently praise the slow-burn approach to the female protagonist Sarah's corruption arc, her well-realized personality, and the lively world-building—NPCs react authentically, and minor details (like the infamous bikini moment) stick with players. The exhibitionism content is handled thoughtfully, and choices feel meaningful even when they don't branch dramatically. However, the game suffers from persistent UI friction: the phone interface pops up erratically between messages, text boxes flicker when characters switch, and readability issues plague the visual presentation. Recent updates have disappointed some players by adding route variations (park vs. hike) that repeat the same scenarios with different backdrops rather than advancing the story—a legitimate complaint about development pacing, not design. The community is divided on fetish scope (some want more NTS progression, others prefer the current restraint), but that reflects personal taste, not a flaw. The dev is transparent, engaged, and aware of the technical debt; they're managing a complex branching system as a first project while battling personal delays.
