Editorial Has potential
When Eternity Ends is a mythology-themed strategy game with character recruitment and ritual mechanics that has genuinely engaged its community—players praise the recent ritual overhaul and the addition of quest variety (Artemis, Harpy Hideout). However, the current build is rough around the edges: the UI hides critical information (scrollbars not visible, unclear quest markers), save-file handling causes cross-version corruption, card-click responsiveness fails mid-battle, and narrative flow has noticeable gaps (characters referencing exposition that was never delivered, abrupt scene transitions). The core design shows promise, but execution issues—especially the card-game interface and save compatibility—regularly block progress. A fresh start sometimes helps, but players shouldn't need to restart to advance. The game is playable in stretches and worth a try if you're patient with rough edges and don't mind a reload or two, but expect friction that breaks immersion. The developers are actively updating and listening; community goodwill is there, and so is a game underneath the technical debris. With polish, this could be solid.
