Description
Arlen, a village shaman, returns from a trading expedition to find his homeland devastated by an Amazonian raid. His family is dead, and the surviving villagers have been taken deep into the forest. Armed with his ancestors' forbidden knowledge and mysterious seeds capable of resurrecting the dead, Arlen begins to bring people back—binding them magically to his will. He first resurrects his sister Milena, then turns to the corpse of an enemy warrior, seeking to rebuild his strength and pursue revenge.
This is a narrative-driven gamebook where your choices fundamentally shape the story. Early on, you select which of three enemy warriors—the experienced shield fighter Verda, the archer Ceris, or the infiltrator Lyka—to resurrect first. This decision branches the narrative, determining which allies you meet, which operations become available, and who you can save. Combat uses a streamlined dice-roll system, but the heart of the game is deciding how to use your limited seeds: recruiting new allies, saving captured prisoners, reviving fallen companions, or holding them in reserve for the final confrontation.
The game offers three major routes and five distinct endings, with branching outcomes that extend beyond the final battle. Post-game epilogues reflect your earlier choices—how you treated the women who fought alongside you, whether you pursue revenge or mercy, and what future you build with your sister and homeland. All choices matter, from tactical decisions in conflict to moral judgments about your enemies' fate.
