Editorial Meh
Vicekeeper Victor is a management sim with an interesting concept—running a vice operation with character progression—but the execution is underdeveloped even for an early demo. Players note that beyond the initial setup and a few scripted events, there's little to do: work, buy beer, watch money drain, and wait for interactions that don't come. The renders are attractive, though some find the aesthetic (exaggerated lip fillers, plastic proportions) more cartoonish than immersive. More critically, the game has been abandoned: the developer has a documented pattern of dropping projects after a few months (University King, Degenerate, and now this) in favor of new starts, citing lost interest or technical dead-ends. One recent post suggests possible revival via AI bug-fixes, but given the track record, expectations should be cautious. Community opinion is split between those who see potential in the core idea and those who've lost faith in the developer's follow-through.
