Velvet Ladder

Velvet Ladder is a narrative-driven choice game set in a waterfront city where you assume the role of a man inheriting a dangerous ledger from your mysteriously vanished predecessor, Daniel Kerr. The ledger contains damaging secrets about the city's most powerful people—corruption, affairs, hidden deals—and everyone from your coworkers to the elite wants to control what you do with it. The game centers on managing your daily life: planning your schedule across three time slots each day, responding to text messages with varying tones (warm, flirty, professional, or honest), and deciding whom to trust and pursue. Your choices shape relationships with six women, each with their own agendas, and determine which of five different endings you reach in Chapter 1. The themes explore corruption, power dynamics, and moral compromise; relationships can involve exhibitionism, blackmail, and navigable NTR elements. Every decision carries weight—those you ignore will remember, and those you cultivate will demand more from you.
