Editorial Meh

This historical sandbox romance aims for provocative appeal but stumbles badly on execution. The translation is notoriously poor—so mangled that players resort to ChatGPT and screenshots to parse basic map labels and dialogue—making it hard to engage with even the intended story. Beyond that, the design frustrates: fake choices, tedious walking, and inability to quick-save rob the sandbox of player agency, while leveling feels pointless. The core content is deliberately NTR-focused (a partner inevitably shares partners with others in this libertine society), which some find compelling as a darker fantasy but others discover only after starting, leading to buyer's remorse. A few players report enjoying the premise and art despite the rough edges, but the translation barrier and mechanical tedium overshadow the creative ambition.

Description

In a fantasy kingdom that once faced destruction, a radical social reform 200 years ago separated love from procreation. Society has since flourished, with child-bearing now a casual civic duty rather than an expression of romantic commitment. Yon is an ordinary young man living in a small village with conventional values—a stark contrast to the sexual liberalism now normalized around him. Recently come of age and on the cusp of legal fertility, he finds himself caught between his personal attachment to his childhood sweetheart Mel and the kingdom's casual approach to reproduction. The story follows his ordinary life and relationships as traditional romantic ideals collide with a post-revolutionary society's pragmatic sexuality.
