Editorial Worth it
Tower of Alfimia is a femdom-focused RPGM game with polished CG art and character design that lands well for its audience. The combat encounters are designed around attrition and submission mechanics rather than winning through raw stats, though some players find the difficulty curve punishing—the first fight is intentionally unwinnable on normal play, and the game explicitly supports grinding, stat manipulation, and skip features for those who want them. Story and pacing receive mixed feedback: some praise the narrative structure and character work, while others feel the ending section relies too heavily on text rather than visual payoff, particularly around a role-reversal option that doesn't deliver cinematically. The comparison to the developer's earlier Princess Honey Trap is inevitable but fair—this game's plot and mechanics are solid, but players expecting the same narrative surprise or visual depth in the finale may be disappointed. A locked door with no function remains an unsolved mystery from early development.
