To the New Continent is a tactics RPG with a female protagonist and a bondage/restraint theme—a genuinely rare combination in adult games, and one that doesn't default to sex-focused content. The game is positioned as 16+ with no sexual scenes, which will disappoint players looking for explicit material on an adult platform; the community is divided between those who respect the creative choice and those who see it as misplaced. On the creative side, the game appears reasonably fleshed out mechanically, but it is hampered by significant presentation problems: widespread AI-generated artwork with visible inconsistencies (malformed chains, nonsensical character design choices like a staff bound to a leg shackle), inconsistent character portraits, and no preview images—all of which undermine confidence in the final product. The current build also struggles with performance, with players reporting heavy resource use and choppiness even in the tutorial.
