Editorial Don't bother
The Simulation is a striking tech demo built in Unreal Engine 5: the graphics, character models, and animations are genuinely impressive, and a few players see real promise in the foundation. However, it is not yet a game. The current build is plagued by game-breaking bugs—invisible characters during sex scenes, characters sinking underground, camera inversions, audio glitches—that make core content unplayable. Beyond the technical chaos, there is no meaningful gameplay: weather and time systems exist but have zero impact on NPC routines or interactions; characters "wait" for events that happen on command regardless of conditions. The developer appears focused on visual fidelity and engine experimentation at the expense of actual game design. For those interested in UE5 modding or technical showcases, the work is worth studying; for anyone seeking a playable adult game, this is a rough proof-of-concept, not a finished product.
