The Outlaw: Empyrean War

The Outlaw: Empyrean War is a fantasy text-based RPG and sandbox game made in Twine. You play as an outlaw in the Kingdom of Walshemia, falsely imprisoned by the Church, who breaks free and seeks truth and revenge as dark forces gather. The game features simple turn-based combat, minimal grinding, and an expansive quest system spanning multiple cities and factions—from the royal capital to southern port cities and hidden cults. Core gameplay includes recruiting companions into your harem, building political alliances, managing armies, and uncovering conspiracies while exploring dungeons and engaging in numerous optional personal storylines.
