Editorial Don't bother
The Interdimensional Princess Arrives! is a fan-translated RPG with genuinely appealing art and a handful of interesting character designs — the redheaded knight in particular draws admiration — but the underlying game draws consistent criticism for weak, incoherent storytelling. Reviewers describe a plot that fails to explain its own events, characters who vanish without resolution, and pacing that lurches from scene to scene without meaningful build-up. The game leans heavily into non-consensual content, which divides the audience sharply: some players came expecting exactly that and found it fine, while others were put off by the lack of player agency over several unavoidable scenes. The translation team added QOL features and a near-virgin-run path, but the source material's narrative shortcomings remain the ceiling. On the technical side, the build carries a real and documented list of bugs: affection scores that reset and can't be raised legitimately, equipment upgrades that corrupt stat values, inventory glitches, missing scene images, and misleading in-game text about money rewards. The translator has been actively patching and is responsive in the thread, but several of these issues appear unresolved at the time of the most recent reviews, making this a rough rather than polished experience. There is also a virus-flag report for one of the download mirrors, worth bearing in mind when sourcing the file.
