Editorial Has potential
The Innocent is a corruption-themed sandbox where player choice drives whether the protagonist maintains innocence or succumbs to manipulation—the appeal lies in that agency over her fate. Visually polished with strong character work and expressive animations (the developer is actively learning AI-assisted techniques), the game leans into non-consensual and coercive scenarios (groping, blackmail, manipulation by trusted figures) as core content, which will not be for everyone; community reception splits between those drawn to that dynamic and those who find it uncomfortable. The current build is rough: multiple players report crashes (missing scene labels, black-screen sequences), the journal/diary feature vanished in an update, and Android support remains unfinished, though the core Windows version is playable. Development is active but slow—the creator juggles this project alongside a separate "Broken In" title and personal circumstances, leaving update timing uncertain.
