Editorial Has potential
The Dark Mage's Theory of Happiness is a short, narrative-driven game centered on seduction events at a magical academy, with light RPG mechanics that never pose real threat. Community feedback is divided: those who enjoy the premise praise the character variety and scene frequency, but a significant bug blocks progress at a late-game boss fight (Furamu), where a self-destruct skill event fails to trigger properly, leaving players unable to proceed without file editing or workarounds. The build is playable up to that point, and some earlier defeat events work as intended, but the broken final encounter and scattered technical errors underscore an unfinished state. For its audience, the core content—leisurely pacing through encounters with multiple girls—delivers on its promise, though the current version's stability issues are a serious impediment.
