The Chosen Varia is a modern-setting superhero AVN with a promising core concept and world—enough to draw genuine interest from players. However, execution falls short on multiple fronts. Writing quality is a persistent complaint: grammar errors, awkward phrasing ("good morrow"), and particularly poor sex-scene writing that reads immature and unconvincing. The story itself, while not originally flawed, needed strong prose to lift its fairly generic setup—which it lacks. Sex scenes compound the problem: animations are janky and unrealistic, camera work is jarring, and scenes lack buildup or believable character motivation (encounters feel rushed and transactional rather than earned).
