Superfly

You arrive in the dying village of Kagero-mura during its annual festival with unexplained wealth and a stay at a fading ryokan. Once a year the village comes alive, and once a year after the festival, a mysterious ceremony is held. Five people remain: Suzume, the innkeeper's niece who hasn't left in six years; Akane, holding the town together through debt; Mio, who wants nothing from you; Goro, the taxi driver with uncomfortable truths; and Yuriko, the shrine maiden who decides who is invited to the ceremony. Every choice is permanent—you can rewind dialogue but never decisions. How you spend your money and attention over two days determines whether certain doors open for you at the ceremony.
