Editorial Has potential
Stalker in Black is a Biko-like pursuit game with solid fundamentals and genuine player interest, but it ships in an unfinished state despite being released years ago. The core loop—exploring a small area, locating NPCs, and progressing through dialogue—is engaging enough that several players request similar titles, and the writing and scenario design show competence. However, the build is plagued by practical problems: items found in-game don't work during scenes, missions reference collectibles that are hard to locate or don't function as intended, some language strings don't translate from Japanese, and there are launch crashes on certain hardware configurations (even high-end setups). The developer has long since moved on, and no fixed version appears to exist in circulation. If you enjoy the Biko formula and can tolerate rough edges and incomplete features, there's enough here to justify a few hours; if you need a stable, finished experience, this isn't it.
