Silent Corruption is a fully-animated POV visual novel with an apparent thriller/mystery bent, and its earliest players responded warmly: the visuals and animations drew real praise, the flashback-style prologue landed better than expected, and the cast struck people as genuinely interesting. The 100%-animated approach is unusual for the genre and gives the game a distinctive feel, even if the POV framing creates acknowledged trade-offs — chiefly that romantic and kissing scenes are awkward to stage without showing the MC's face. Dialogue occasionally feels overwrought (every conversation straining to feel significant), and a handful of continuity hiccups in the opening chapter were flagged early on. The build is currently unfinished and development pace is uncertain. A text-speed lock and intrusive camera-shake affected the initial release, though the developer moved quickly to address both. More pressing is the update cadence: the first release shipped roughly five months ago, a promised quarterly update didn't materialise, and the Patreon appeared to go dark for a period — though the developer has since posted plans to rework the pipeline. Community discussion also touched on the planned inclusion of NTR content and routes where major characters can die, so players with strong feelings about those should check the current tags before diving in. A promising debut, but one to wishlist and revisit once the next update arrives.
