Editorial Don't bother
Shelter X is a management sim built almost entirely from AI-generated assets, and the community consensus is blunt: it doesn't work creatively or mechanically. The bunker is oversized and empty, resident stats are meaningless, recruits don't appear where they should, and the core loop—assigning people to generate "extremely generic AI gifs"—lacks any coherent appeal or connection to the post-apocalyptic setting. A few players note there may be *some* audience for management games, but even they don't defend this one on merit. The disconnect between promotional images and actual gameplay, combined with obvious asset-flip practices, has poisoned what little goodwill might exist. Community feedback is sparse but damning: most who downloaded it bounced immediately, and those who persisted found a half-baked concept executed without craft or vision.
