Editorial Worth it
Sexorcist Academy is a linear kinetic visual novel from Miel/Cherry Kiss, following their well-established formula: a bullied protagonist gains power and dominates schoolgirls through a supernatural academy setting. The game delivers what fans of this studio expect—strong character art, solid voice acting, and abundant adult content featuring the studio's signature fetishes (domination, humiliation, bondage, piercing, marking, and urolagnia). The craft is competent; players who enjoy the content report genuine satisfaction with the character designs, voice work, and the narrative's power-fantasy framing. However, the story is deliberately linear with minimal choices, the censoring of genital details frustrates many, and the gameplay is functionally non-interactive (clicking to advance). Critical opinion divides sharply: fans of the studio and these specific fetishes rate it highly and note its relative length (26 chapters, more characters than some entries); others find the premise distasteful, the writing shallow, the pacing tedious, and the lack of auto-skip maddening. The product is niche and unoriginal—Miel has released dozens of near-identical titles over decades—but for its intended audience, it executes competently. Community presence is minimal.
