Editorial Don't bother
Sex Shop Simulator: Forbidden Service is a management sim that tries to blend economic gameplay with adult content, but stumbles on both fronts. The core loop—running a shop while being pressured into errands and sexual favors by the club owner—creates narrative friction that players find frustrating rather than engaging; many feel the sim mechanics undermine each other. The current build is plagued by technical embarrassments: mouse sensitivity is wildly miscalibrated (spinning uncontrollably in vehicles), UI options don't apply across systems, inventory placement is broken or unintuitive, and the demo alone weighs 4+ GB. One player called it "the worst Simulation game I've ever played," citing that manual shelf-stocking (standard in better sims) feels like poor design or a bug. The game has potential as a niche fantasy, but the execution—both creatively and technically—needs serious work before it's worth the player's time.
