Editorial Has potential
Selene vs. The Goblin Horde is an early-access adult action game with a combat/exhibitionism-flavored premise, and the community response so far is enthusiastic but shallow. Players consistently praise the art quality, the story setup, and the character design — Selene's proactive, promiscuous personality (openly inspired by Karryn from Karryn's Prison) is called out as a highlight. Suggestions for more defeat/loss scenes and expanded skill variety suggest the core loop already has fans eager for more content. That said, the game is clearly mid-development: the developer is working on an update cadence of roughly every two months, the current public build covers only part of Chapter 1, and a large share of the reviews are actually dev Q&A exchanges rather than independent player verdicts. Genuine critical feedback is almost entirely absent — there are no complaints about art, writing, or mechanics — which makes a strong endorsement hard to give, but the enthusiasm from those who have played it is consistent.
