Editorial Meh
Run Run is a rough proof-of-concept for an open-world slavery and capture sandbox with survival mechanics. The core loop—wandering, finding NPCs, capturing them, and trading at camps—has supporters who see genuine potential in its niche premise, but the game is severely underdeveloped: spawning is opaque and often fruitless, hunger drains too fast, content is thin, and players regularly starve without ever locating the camp. The original developer has moved on; the build circulating here is a fan reconstruction from a jam project, playable but unpolished, with control issues and clearly incomplete implementation. For those willing to tinker with code or exploit glitches, there is a skeleton to work with; for everyone else, it reads as a tech demo rather than a game.
