ReConnect: Texting Stories has a compelling premise and players appreciate quality-of-life features like text speed controls, but the game is severely hampered by persistent bugs that undermine its core design. The most critical issue: chapter progression breaks on multiple routes (notably Jinx), forcing players to use the replay gallery instead of advancing normally, and choices frequently fail to produce their intended consequences—players report making decisions to prevent NTR outcomes only to watch them happen anyway during replays. Save-file corruption is also common and requires manual deletion of local data to fix. The narrative promise of meaningful choice rings hollow when the game cannot reliably deliver on it. While the writing itself may engage its audience, the current build is too broken to recommend.
