Editorial Has potential
Project Coffee is a cute, charming visual novel with an appealing demon-girl protagonist and a light, low-stakes gameplay loop of work and stat-building. The writing has personality, and the sprite art—though AI-generated at base and hand-refined—reads as polished and characterful. However, the current demo build is severely broken: a critical cascade crash ("Grid overfull") is triggering for multiple players mid-game, progression locks plague stat-gating (affection/trust refusing to register completion), and save-file corruption across versions has locked players out of advancing. The story itself shows promise for its audience, but right now the game is effectively unplayable for many, even completionists. The developers are responsive and improving it, but the build needs urgent stabilization before it's worth anyone's time.
