FNAF: Security Overhaul

Editorial Has potential

FNAF: Security Overhaul is a character-driven adult visual novel centered on FNAF animatronics that has earned genuine praise for its writing, character work, and emotional resonance—players consistently highlight the depth of routes like Roxy's as among the best they've experienced in the genre. However, the project is effectively stalled: the last public build (0.4.6) dropped in September 2024, roughly a year ago, and despite a developer post promising the next build "within one month," no update has materialized. The game has migrated to Patreon and Discord following payment-processor issues with Itch.io, but even those channels show no recent activity. Many buyers report being unable to download what they paid for, Discord links are dead or require moderation approval, and Android support remains absent. The creative vision is solid, but the current build is old and access is fragmented.
