Tear Leap Prism is a side-scrolling action game where you control Tear Leap Prism, the legendary warrior and strongest hero of your era, using punches, kicks, and magic to defeat dark monsters called 'Shadow People' and the sorcerers who create them. The game emphasizes simple, satisfying combat mechanics set against a near-future world threatened by criminals, enhanced individuals, and interdimensional invaders. Between action stages, visual novel sequences advance the story and develop Tear Leap Prism's character—exploring her dual nature as both an earnest hero fighting for peace and justice, and a woman vulnerable to corruption and pleasure. The narrative branches into two contrasting paths: 'Light Princess' (a idealistic hero's journey) and 'Fallen Princess' (a descent into depravity). If you are captured by enemies or take specific attacks while low on magical power, you become exposed and vulnerable to sexual assault; defeat results in increasingly explicit consequences as your character falls to enemy corruption.
