Editorial Has potential
Potion of Desire is an in-development adult game with a modest, cute protagonist whose character design resonates strongly with players tired of extreme proportions. The writing and world-building show promise—players appreciate the personality and twists on familiar tropes, and the roadmap (new quests, bathhouse, planned fetishes like foot and BDSM) suggests active development. However, the current build has real friction: quest-blocking bugs (the guild task quest fails if you become a spy before completing it; the drunken assault trigger is unclear), missing Mac support, and incomplete content (the Grand Panacea ingredients are not yet all obtainable). These are not showstoppers for a game in active development, but they do interrupt progression and frustrate players mid-playthrough. If you're drawn to the character and willing to tolerate a rough, unfinished state, it's worth checking out; if you need a stable, complete experience, wait for a more polished release.
