Editorial Don't bother
Pleasure Cult is technically broken — players report constant loading crashes, file corruption across multiple host platforms, and a build so large (4GB) it contains unrelated code from previous games, making it unstable and nearly impossible to mod. The actual game content is sparse: reviewers found only a single scene available without heavy grinding or cheating, and one advertised character (Makima) has no content whatsoever. The few who dug into the files praise the dev's work ethic and artistic vision (particularly lighting and atmosphere), but the overwhelming consensus is that the game is unfinished, poorly architected, and not ready for release. Community members have had to create workarounds and cheat mods just to access what little content exists.
