Editorial Don't bother
Please, Boss! is a stock-trading sandbox built around an AI-generated gallery of stylized female characters. The core loop is functional but thin: buy shares to earn money, spend it on CG images, interact with NPCs via shallow dialogue that triggers looping pixel animations. The game wears its concept openly—a vehicle for browsing AI art—and doesn't pretend to be much else. A few isolated players find the premise charming or the art competent enough to justify a browse; most reviewers dismiss it as a shallow image gallery dressed up in spreadsheet clothes, with no meaningful gameplay progression, useless stat systems, deliberately vague NPC interactions, and a starting fund so large it collapses any economic motivation. Sound design is notorious (a single slurping loop plays even during unrelated actions). The build is playable but rough: missing reset option, file extraction errors reported, no audio controls, inconsistent save behavior, and placeholder character states that suggest unfinished development despite being sold as complete.
