Editorial Has potential
Lustful Spirit Hunt: Ringman Edition is an abandoned spinoff that, by community consensus, actually improves on the main game in nearly every way—tighter puzzle mechanics, deeper lore, better character sprites, and more ambitious quest design with real consequences. Players consistently prefer it to the base LSH and express genuine disappointment that development halted; the dev has confirmed it will eventually be reintegrated into a much larger project called Magic Ring, but that's years away pending completion of four other games first. The current build is rough: a significant portion of players report being unable to move the character at all in v0.3.3, a gamebreaking issue with a known (but unintuitive) workaround buried in community threads. Some content is unimplemented and requires community-sourced file edits to access. For those who can get past the technical hurdles, the game delivers strong creative work—the puzzle design, while occasionally obtuse, is intentional and appreciated by players who enjoy mystery-solving in adult games—but the broken state and indefinite abandonment make this a tough sell right now.
