Planet Lust is a Mars-based farming sim with adult content that divides its audience sharply. The pixel art and character designs are widely praised, and for players who enjoy the Stardew Valley formula mixed with explicit scenes, the game delivers on that premise with decent production values. However, the creative execution is widely seen as incomplete: the sexual content is minimal (one or two scenes per character), the affection system is purely transactional chore-grinding with no meaningful dialogue, and the gameplay loop—mining, crafting, task completion—becomes repetitive and grindy quickly, especially on higher difficulties. The story is generic, characters lack depth despite solid visual design, and the sex scenes themselves feel undercooked compared to the effort spent on the farming mechanics.
