Editorial Meh
Plague Lust is a very early-stage sandbox NSFW game set against an apocalyptic backdrop, built in Koikatsu. Community feedback is thin and heavily mixed with developer responses and off-topic chatter, but genuine players see real promise: the concept, character designs, and dirty dialogue earn praise, and the active, responsive developer draws goodwill. The main creative criticism is that the pacing is far too rushed — relationships escalate to intimacy within a single in-game day, and sexual scenes skip most intermediate steps, jumping straight from introduction to climax. Reviewers also note that the base Koikatsu visuals look flat and under-lit compared to higher-end implementations of the same engine. Still, those who like the premise and the cast are genuinely rooting for the project, making it a promising but embryonic work. On the build side, there are real friction points: the Mac release was packaged as a .7z file that broke on launch without manual terminal fixes, at least one download link was reported dead, and the internal folder was misnamed "Zombie Addiction." The game is clearly mid-development with very little content so far. Enthusiasts willing to watch a game grow from its earliest stages may find something here, but most players would be better served waiting for a more substantial update.
