Editorial Don't bother
Pig Training Legend has attractive character artwork, but little else to recommend it. The game is fundamentally unfinished: sparse CG content (around 9 per character), opaque mechanics with no meaningful tutorial, tedious grindy gameplay (resource farming, potion-crafting), broken UI controls, and a save system that frequently corrupts or resets progress. Most damning, the developer appears to have abandoned the project over two years ago, shipping a half-finished product while moving on to other games—multiple players report the developer claimed lack of funding as an excuse while simultaneously starting new projects. The few who push through the grinding report the actual gameplay loop is unrewarding. For a game priced at $120, this feels like a bait-and-switch: interesting fetish subject matter and decent art propping up a structurally broken, incomplete experience.
