Editorial Meh
Parasite Infection is a text-driven body-modification game with strong thematic writing and artwork that lands well for its niche audience—players into tentacles, mind control, and parasitic transformation consistently praise the creative premise and erotic execution. However, the game suffers from serious technical and creative problems that undermine the experience. The build is buggy and unfinished: performance degrades sharply as inventory scales, Chapter 3 requires workarounds to complete, late chapters lack clear goals, and UI elements break under load. Beyond the technical mess, the game contains a transphobic passage in Part 4 that frames transition as self-harm, jarring and offensive even in a fetish context. The developer has abandoned the first game mid-development to pursue a sequel relying entirely on AI-generated images, raising ethical concerns and signaling this version will remain incomplete. For players who do engage despite these flaws, the core fantasy delivers; but the broken build, unresolved bigotry, and active abandonment make this a hard pass at full price.
