Nisemono Legend is a furry visual novel with appealing character art and a laid-back premise, but it's currently hamstrung by critical save-corruption bugs and grinding-heavy pacing that exhausts players before story progression. Multiple recent reports confirm that autosaves override manual saves and lock players into specific scenes, making progress impossible to maintain; additionally, some players report saves resetting to day zero entirely. Beyond the technical crisis, the core loop—collecting resources (flowers, nuts) to raise affinity—is widely described as tedious and excessive, with little narrative payoff, leading several players to abandon the game out of boredom before anything "finally happens."
