New Perspective is a completed dark fantasy visual novel about blackmail, power dynamics, and forbidden attraction—centered on the protagonist's relationship with his sister. The game delivers on its premise with explicit scenes and morally complex choices that genuinely matter: wrong decisions lock you out of characters permanently. However, the narrative feels abrupt and underdeveloped; the story spans only three in-game days despite opening with talk of "a crazy week," and multiple character arcs remain incomplete or shallow. Sex scenes are basic and repetitive. Community opinion splits sharply: some appreciate the bold, unapologetic premise and appreciate that it's a finished product; others find the protagonist's early actions (secret filming, coercive blackmail) needlessly cruel rather than narratively justified, and criticize the lack of story depth.
