Neon Bay

Neon Bay is a text-based adult life simulation with light RPG elements, set in a near-future cyberpunk city. You create your own character and navigate life in one of three districts—the Mall, Suburbs, or Downtown—meeting hundreds of procedurally generated NPCs who have their own schedules, personalities, preferences, and lives. The game separates friendship, romance, and physical attraction, allowing for varied relationship dynamics: you might become best friends with someone you have no romantic chemistry with, or experience intense attraction to a relative stranger. Core gameplay involves managing needs (hunger, fatigue, hygiene, social), pursuing a career to pay bills, building relationships through interaction, and engaging in consensual adult content as relationships develop naturally. The game includes a smartphone with apps, outfit management, time and weather systems, skill checks, and branching storylines that create emergent drama. Each playthrough differs based on your choices and the NPCs you encounter; replayability is enhanced through customizable city demographics and random seeds. Neon Bay is in Early Access with core systems functional and engaging. The developer plans to expand with additional districts, storylines, and features in future updates. The experience emphasizes emergent storytelling as you navigate a living city where NPCs pursue their own goals and preferences independent of your actions.
