My Waifu's Stream Is Going Viral is a visual novel sandbox about managing a webcam streamer's broadcast, built around a minigame loop and upgrade economy. The art and animation hold up well, and the streaming concept has appeal for its niche audience—but the creative execution stumbles badly. Progression feels hollow: stat increases don't meaningfully affect outcomes, chat interaction has no real impact, and the core loop devolves into tedious grinding for money with diminishing returns (capped earnings regardless of effort). Content outside streams is thin, and the game's tagging is incomplete—players note it should signal swinging and potentially NTR themes. The bigger problem is readiness: the build is rough and actively frustrating. Save/load is severely broken (loads instead of overwriting, disabling chat features; players must manually delete files or use workarounds). A drag-and-drop minigame mechanic doesn't work properly. The gallery locks without an unlock-all button. These aren't minor polish issues—they actively damage what little engagement loop exists. Community consensus is divided between those who appreciate the aesthetic and concept, and those burned by both the grinding design and technical bugs. Worth trying only if you're forgiving of unfinished work and the specific fetish setup appeals to you.
