Editorial Meh
My Life With 4 Succubus is a Koikatsu-based visual novel built around a contract premise: the MC lives with four succubi for six months. The community is sharply divided not over execution quality but over content fit. A vocal portion of players feels badly misled by the game's own lore, which sets up an expectation of virgin love interests, only to deliver characters who openly and repeatedly discuss their extensive experience with other partners — during sex scenes included. For players who enjoy that dynamic or don't mind it, the renders are praised as genuinely attractive, the MC's character model gets specific compliments for detail unusual in the genre, and the early-access 'decline the contract' route is called a surprisingly complete and satisfying alternative path. The core creative problem flagged most consistently is a structural one: this is nominally a harem game where you must ultimately pick one girl, and the love interests are written in a way that many find difficult to invest in romantically. Whether that content suits you will determine everything about whether the game is worth your time. On the build side, the game was abandoned by the developer in late 2025, with multiple storylines and planned routes scrapped and an acknowledged rushed ending attached to the main path. The 'decline the contract' route is playable to a satisfying conclusion, but the main harem path is unfinished. Minor writing/spelling issues were noted by early players. Overall, this is a game where a niche audience — specifically those comfortable with or drawn to promiscuous love interests — may find real value in what exists, while most others will run into the content mismatch before the abandoned-development problem even registers.
