Editorial Has potential
Missing Piece is an ambitious literary game that stands out in the adult HTML space for its willingness to tackle darker psychological themes and complex family dynamics—characters chasing redemption they may never find. The writing shows genuine craft, with literary references and thematic depth that goes beyond genre norms. However, the build is rough: placeholder images (notably Bill Clinton appearing throughout), persistent naming bugs where the MC is still called "Dorian" despite customization, slow text scrolling that breaks pacing, and unclear perspective shifts between multiple playable characters confuse players mid-scene. The dev is candid that only two weeks of work has gone into this early version, and it shows. The game is playable but clearly mid-development; players expecting polish should wait. Content note: post-game content includes heavy NTR elements and father-son content (planned for later). Community feedback is sparse but divided—some find the ambition compelling, others find the writing uneven and the presentation frustrating.
