Editorial Worth it
MELFIAS is a polished adult RPG with impressive production values and a branching narrative that meaningfully splits between pure love and NTR routes—a choice architecture that genuinely shapes the story rather than feeling cosmetic. The 70+ dynamic CGs are high-quality, combat encounters include creative set pieces (helicopter chases, vehicle sequences), and the cyberpunk vampire-hunter setting has visual flair. However, the game's creative strength is uneven: reviewers consistently praise the art direction, cutscenes, and character design, but note that the story structure—while ambitious in its dual-heroine balancing act—feels incomplete or rushed toward the end, with some plot threads left dangling. The core narrative isn't weak enough to tank the experience, but it doesn't fully land either. Maze design is infamously labyrinthine and quest direction is vague, requiring patience or external guides. A solid execution of a niche fantasy, worth picking up if NTR-heavy narratives appeal to you and you're comfortable with unclear dungeon layouts.
