Maya Detective Agency

Mayya is an unusual being—a supernatural creature (ayakashi) who works at a detective agency helping humans solve cases. Recently, her successful investigations have begun to make her popular. She agrees to a close-up documentary featuring her everyday life, which becomes surprisingly well-received. However, during the final live broadcast episode, an unexpected incident causes her considerable embarrassment. The story begins the next day when Mizukami, visiting during her time off, comes to see Mayya.
