Makito Definitely Existed...2025

This is a visual novel game based on true events from 2004 to 2006. It follows Makito, an inexperienced man with no romantic history, as he desperately attempts to find a girlfriend through introductions and group dating events (合コン). Driven to absurd extremes by his desperation, he exhibits outrageous and unconventional behavior that drags those around him into his misadventures. The narrative blends comedy with genuine chaos—absurd enough to be funny, yet grounded enough in reality to feel unbelievable. With approximately 260,000 characters of text, the story chronicles Makito's comedic yet determined pursuit of romance, characterized by his cheapness, constant lying, obsession with gyudon (beef rice bowls), and his increasingly ridiculous schemes to win a girlfriend's heart.
