The Day We Depart for the Stars

A murder mystery visual novel set in the ordinary provincial town of Kasumiki. When a brutal murder occurs, Hina, a gossip-loving high school girl chasing a big scoop, witnesses the crime scene by chance. There she encounters Chitose, a mysterious girl. Seizing this "exclusive story," Hina approaches Chitose with a proposition: keep her involvement in the crime secret in exchange for an "interview." The game unfolds as a tense psychological thriller where the boundary between investigator and suspect blurs.
