Magical Hellhound Lust is a roguelike action game with real potential—strong pixel art, satisfying combat mechanics with three distinct classes, excellent music, and a variety of well-made adult content. However, the game was released into early access far too soon. Reviewers consistently report screen tearing, widespread enemy AI bugs (spawning inside walls, freezing mid-animation, broken behavior), gallery items re-locking after purchase, and crashes on Linux. The story drops players mid-narrative with no tutorial or exposition, assuming familiarity with a prior game in the series; while some appreciate this and find the lore compelling, others find it confusing and alienating. Voice acting is inconsistent—the main character works well, but many supporting voices are poorly balanced or grating.
