Editorial Meh
Lustful Harem in Heaven is a sandbox follow-up to what appears to have been a visual-novel-style predecessor, and that shift is the game's most divisive trait. Several players explicitly miss the fuller rendered scenes and VN pacing of the original, finding the sprite-based sandbox format a step down in presentation. Within the sandbox itself, complaints are consistent: relationship progression feels grindingly slow (gains of 0.5 per hangout), arrow-based navigation is clunky, and shop text partially remains in Spanish despite an English-language selection — a localization gap the developer seems aware of and actively working on. The dungeon-crawler quicktime battles also frustrate a portion of players who find the difficulty spikes mismatched with the expectations of an adult game.
