Luminary Protocol is an adult isekai visual novel following a protagonist torn from Earth into Lumis, a dangerous magical copy of our world ruled by gods and demons. The story begins with familiar genre tropes but quickly becomes a desperate fight for survival in a hostile, shifting realm where convergences regularly transport new lands, creatures, and peoples into the world. The game features a linear main story with meaningful choice systems: most decisions affect flavor and perspective, while rare pivotal choices significantly alter outcomes. An alignment system (Order, Chaos, Balance) influences how characters respond and events unfold. The narrative emphasizes mature storytelling grounded in realism, with extensive sexual content integrated into character relationships and story progression rather than served as disconnected scenes. Expect graphic violence, substance use, supernatural horror elements, and morally complex situations. The world-building includes faction-based missions, character-driven events, and codex entries exploring lore and metaphysics. As a solo debut project by an amateur developer using AI-assisted asset creation, the game is structured for regular monthly updates, each adding approximately one hour of new story content.
