Editorial Has potential
Long Ears and Short Tales is a promising early demo that earns genuine enthusiasm from players. The writing, world-building, and character work (especially the bunny protagonist Juniper) draw consistent praise; the art style and combat mechanics land well even for non-furry audiences. Exploration rewards player curiosity—hidden scenes and items encourage engaging with the setting rather than rushing through. The foundation is solid: a relationship system is planned, story choices matter, and the developer is balancing ambition with scope as a first-time creator working a day job. However, the build has a notable flaw: returning to the forest after the opening mission softlocks the game, which blocks progression for some players. Community feedback is otherwise light on bugs, but this one is a clear blocker that needs fixing before wider play.
