Locked Up with Them pairs decent AI art and a fun prison-fantasy concept with execution problems that undermine the appeal. The core idea — a man in an all-female prison with multiple romance routes — draws interest, and some players praise the character designs and the promise of femdom/foot-fetish content. But the game is buried under excessive internal monologue: reviewers consistently report that the MC narrates every scene in tedious detail, repeating and over-analyzing dialogue until the pacing grinds to a halt. Worse, a significant portion of the script remains in Spanish even when English is selected, breaking immersion for English speakers. At v0.2.2 the characters lean heavily on tired tropes (the innocent, the bad girl with a heart, the shrink, the stern warden), and the narrative structure — long exposition dumps disguised as dialogue — feels more like reading a book than playing a game. The premise has legs, but the bloated writing and language bugs need serious trimming before this becomes worth the time investment.
