Limits of Deviation is an early-stage phone-format VN with a deliberate design commitment: multiple relationship routes (Love, Netori, NTR, NTS) that players can genuinely avoid rather than be railroaded into. Community consensus is divided by content preference—some praise the flexibility and rendering quality, while others find the slow pacing and opaque relationship mechanics frustrating. The Android build has significant issues (file-loading crashes, save-corruption bugs, broken URM feature), and UI conveniences expected of Ren'Py (fast-forward, autosave branching) are missing, making route-testing tedious. The dev is clearly engaged and iterating, and appreciation exists for the ambition of a solo project; however, the current 0.1 release is rough enough that casual replay is painful. If the dev can stabilize the build and clarify how relationship meters work, the foundation is there.
